African Dance

Our African Dance Instructor is Dr. Keisha Davis.

Dr. Keisha Davis not only considers herself a full time Pathology resident, finishing her training, but also a dancer. She has been training and performing with the Traditional Music Society since 1999 which specializes in West African Dance. She has also taught a hip-hop class and a session of West African dance at City in Motion Dance Studio. Keisha is very enthusiastic and hopes to teach dances from West Africa, including Guinea and Senegal. The dances incorporate technique and each dance represents or reflects on a part of life and culture in Africa. Dances are performed to traditional drum music.

All levels of dance experience are welcome.

You will definitely enjoy this class!
